What you get
A written plan for the next cycle before you commit to it. Usually it’s the next department. Sometimes it’s going deeper on the first cycle or workflow.

How it works
We look at the numbers from Measure, and priorities from Map. Roughly 3 months have passed, in today’s AI world, things move fast, so we check in with you to know if and how priorities may have shifted. This is where we determine our next ‘Basalt Core’ cycle.
Over the last 2-3 months with your team, we typically uncover opportunities to help you go further with AI. Your agents may benefit from updates, AI models change, Odoo gets upgraded, your processes change, someone leaves, you’re using a new software or tool, etc. Hence, even if you don’t want help with other workflows or departments, we can be here for this ongoing monitoring, upgrading and support.
We’ve seen clients have more success when they commit and partner for the longer term. Hence, we’ve built our offer around this, and would like to stay. Granted, it’s good for us too.

Up to 90 minutes. Review the time recovered and decide where the next cycle goes. Everything between those reviews is documented in writing.

Stop working with us whenever you want (after our initial 3 month cycle). If you want to bring the work in-house, we help with the handover. No hidden costs or terms.

Questions you may have
How does Basalt choose the next workflow?
We review our documentation from the Map and Measure phases. Priority goes to the workflow that creates the most value.
To continue, do we have to pay for another 3-month cycle?
No. After the initial 3-month cycle, you pay monthly and can pause or stop at any time. We provide a plan for the next cycle before you decide anything.
What happens to agents already deployed?
As part of our ongoing partnership, we continue to monitor them. AI advancements, updates to AI tools and your existing tools, process changes, data issues or Odoo version changes are reviewed so that your agents don’t drift silently. When you stop working with us, that’s when we stop this service.
Can we expand into another department?
Yes. That is often the best route because the first workflow has already clarified permissions, data and measurement inside the organisation.
How do you avoid accumulating unused agents?
Every agent keeps an owner, an indicator, a log and a stop condition. Anything no longer used or returning time is improved or removed.
We’re mid Odoo implementation. What do we do?
Great question. We can still build your AI layer today. If you use tools other than Odoo, we can start there, and if we realise there’s a structural or data issue due to your Odoo implementation, we’ll call it out and scope it early.
Does Basalt replace our Odoo integrator?
No. Your integrator maintains and develops Odoo. Basalt handles the AI layer on top: your workflows across Odoo modules and other software. Basalt works with the integrator where scopes meet.
What data does Basalt collect and process?
Basalt accesses the records needed for the workflow you approve, such as orders, stock movements or invoices, within the permissions you grant. When an agent uses AI, the relevant task data is shared with the AI services we identify before the agent runs. Basalt also keeps the account details, workspace settings, conversations, reports and activity history needed to operate your workspace.
Where is our data stored and processed?
Odoo remains your system of record. Basalt reads the records needed for a task rather than creating a full copy of your Odoo database. Selected business information can still appear in workspace conversations, reports and logs. Connection credentials are stored encrypted. Before deployment, we confirm the hosting and processing locations and the service providers involved in your setup, including the AI providers.
How long is our data kept?
Your Odoo records remain subject to your existing retention policies. Basalt’s workspace history and operational logs, and any data retained by AI providers, have separate retention periods. Before deployment, we confirm the applicable periods and deletion arrangements for your setup, including what happens when you stop working with us.
What can an agent do without human approval?
Only what you have explicitly authorised. Initially, controls remain tight: the agent can only read and write drafts. As you build trust and confidence, you can expand the agent’s permissions to send, update and delete.
What if we don’t see real ROI and results?
This will become clear and visible in our Measure phase. If this is the case, we’ll fix the workflow, change the priority or stop expanding it. An agent without a result does not become an endless project.
